Valencia Herliani Tanoesoedibjo was born in Jakarta on January 13, 1993. She is the second of five children born to Hary Tanoesoedibjo (Founder and CEO of MNC Group) and Liliana Tanaja Tanoesoedibjo.
Valencia married Indonesian badminton player, Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo, in March 2023 in Paris. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Avery Victoria Sukamuljo, on January 8, 2024.

Valencia has a brilliant educational background and was prepared to pursue a career in the business world. She completed her studies up to the postgraduate level abroad:

Valencia once ventured into politics, running as a candidate for the House of Representatives (Caleg DPR RI) from the Perindo Party in the 2019 Legislative General Election.
